I have a 1992 gs500e and I am trying to put the carbs back on, the new carbs I purchased did not have these two brass fuel line plugs actually in them and I don't know exactly where they go and one is also shorter than the other slightly, can anyone help?!

I had the same problem with my '81 850. Try taking the carbs off and clean them with carb spray. Take out the jets and spray them good. Then find ethenol free premium. The ethenol will gum up the carbs.

Electrical issues are difficult to fix in general. I have a Suzuki GSX-F Katana which has similar electrical mapping. When I was fixing my brake lights, I found the connection underneath the rear faring behind the seat. You'll need to make sure those wires are there, undamaged, and connected. Otherwise locate the fuse box and make sure the fuse for the rear brakes is still good. If you like my solution please feel free to give me a thumbs up!

Since you just did the carbs, my guess is that you forgot to hook up the vacuum line from one of the carbs to the fuel valve.
The fuel valve should have 2 lines on it....one brings fuel to the carbs, and the other uses the vacuum from ONE of the carbs to open it - the main idea being that it shuts the fuel OFF when the engine isn't running.
Hope that fixes ya up!
