Check your spark plugs, they are quite fragile & yoy may have a crack in the ceramics. Replacement is recommended.

The choke has nothing to do with the Idle. If the choke cable is too loose, there's a nut on the backside of the bracket where the knob is. You can tighten it just a bit but be careful, the parts are made of plastic and they break easily.

On your idle, if your bike is equipped with a carb, remove the air filter cover. At the top right of the carb is the throttle stop screw. Clockwise to increase the speed, Counterclockwise to decrease.

If your bike fuel injected, you'll have to take it to a shop to get the idle set, It's done electronically.

Good Luck

2003 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide no electrical power @

Hi, Sinnercyles this is the sort of electrical problem that is probably mechanical. In other words, a complete failure like this suggests there is a break in the wiring or a blown fuse. If nothing on the bike is working, but the battery is fully charged, there are not many parts of the bike that can cause that lack of power. I can only recommend starting at the battery and working your way along with the wiring, checking every connection, including the ignition switch. There is probably a broken connection or failed electrical part that should be obvious when you come across it.

Where is the fuse located for the horn on a harley davidson 2005 wide glide

Harley has been moving the fuse panel around since 2000. On the older Wide Glides, it was behind the "electical box" cover on the left side of the bike. That's the cover just to the rear of the coil cover. But, you might want to take the seat off and look there as well.

Good Luck

Does any one know if progressive shocks off a 1997 dyna wide glide will fit a 2003 dyna wide glide.

They should fit, just measure the length of the shock from eyelet to eyelet. if you don't have the measurements of the other bike just call a local dealer to find out the standard length

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/robert_5bac37c3cb991fdb
