SOURCE: accessory fuse keeps blowing, headlight not working

I know this sounds aomewhat general, however please give the following some thought:
Check your relays, if you have an aftermarket horn you may have a different relay. To troubleshoot unplug your headlight, unplug your horn, etc.. Turn your ignition switch to accessory only. See if the fuse pops. If it does unplug whatever added accessories you may have still have plugged in. Once you can get the fuse to stop popping, turn the ignition switch to on. Then one at a time plug you accessory, headlight, etc. back in. When you find what pops the fuse, unplug that item, start plugging in the other items, if the fuse has not popped you have potentially isolated the circuit causing the issue. Now check the wiring for loose connections, bad ground, and CHECK the relay if that item has one. Hope this helps,

JP

SOURCE: how to change oil in 2003 HD FXD Dyna Super Glide

remove the drain plug from the oil pan, you will need either a 3/4" box wrench or a 5/8" box wrench and the drain plug will be facing forward on the the oil pan. It is easiest to remove this drain plug from under the right side of the bike. put drain plug back in after about 10 m,inutes of drain time and tighten to 18 ft. lbs. Dont forget to change the oil filter as well.

My 2003 superglide is slow to start have new battery

Check all connections for solidness and cleanliness. Any damage to the cable?

When you say slow to start ... this can be read two ways ... slowness of the starter or slowness to fire and actually start. I spoke about the first already ... If the second, it may be time for a professional tuneup ... you know ... carb cleaning and adjustment - points - plugs - filters ... what ever it takes to return the bile to factory specs.

2003 harley davison superglide fxd questions concerning oil

The engine takes three quarts of oil with a filter change. Now, always check the oil after filling. The dipstick has two marks on it. The upper mark is "FULL HOT" and the lower mark is "FULL COLD". Do not overfill.

The transmission holds 20-24 ounces of transmission lube. It too has a dipstick on it.

The primary holds 36-42 ounces of oil. Do not overfill this either because too much oil will make your clutch seem like it's dragging. You will not be able to find neutral with the engine running.

Good luck

2005 superglide wont start

Check your batt. cables  good, especi ally the terminal ends. Pull and twist them to make sure they aren't almost burnt or worn into. This same thing happened to my nephew's 1200 Sportster. Pos. cable was almost completely into INSIDE the insulation near the battery terminal.

Engine not firing, does the Dyna Superglide have an inertia switch? - Engine cut out after hitting a hole in the road.

I would first check the battery connections and make sure they are clean, and also check the battery. it sounds like you make be losing the electrical power, as that would make the ignition cut out.
