You will need to have it serviced by a Viking Service Tech. You can find a dealer near you by using the link 'Locate a Dealer' at the Husqvarna Viking Website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us

SOURCE: huskylock 910 stuck

I had a similiar problem with a 10 year old 920. I found that lubrication of the bearings had dried out or deterioriated. Had to use penerating oil to loosen the bearings and repack the bearings with silicon grease in order to get it working again. Unless you are pretty mechanically minded I'd let a repair guy do the job. Doesn't have to be a Viking dealer either.

How can I fix a jammed, squeaky hand wheel?

This sounds like a bushing in your serger or the upper looper shaft heats up with use. This the swells the metal and seizes the machine. This is always hard to fix right because there are many points on the serger that need regular lube and can heat up. it is an eliminate 1 joint at a time and try agein

I have a lumina overlocker. It stopped working mid stitch with the needles just touching the fabric so I couldn't pull my work out. The handwheel turns and the motor is going, but the needles are not...

Sounds like a jam. Cut the threads before the eyes of the needle, and if you can get in to cut the looper threads just before they leave the loopers, that should help. Loosen the needle screws and try to rock the handwheel so you can get the fabric off. Clean the machine, install new needles, rethread, and you should be good to go.

Motor stopped; locked handwheel

Remove the needles. See if the handwheel moves now. Since it's a new machine, consult with the seller.

Frozen handwheel. machine has basically frozen and the handwheel is unturnable.

Check the loopers below to make sure they are not binding or jammed. Otherwise, you might want to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

I am trying to use the two-thread converter, but are unsure as to where to place the threads. The manual has no illustration showing the converter and threads. Any assistance would be great.

If you know how to install the converter, the rest will take care of itself. Thread the lower looper as you normally would. When you rotate the handwheel through a revolution you should see the upper looper pick up the lower looper thread where the converter meets it. It will then be carried up to the needles.

Always turn the handwheel towards you. There may be an arrow on the side. (Looking from the right it should go counter-clockwise)

Unthread the needles.

Make sure that the needles are new or good (not old or bent).

Make sure that the needles are inserted with the flat side to the back and all of the way up. The left needle will be higher than the right.

Make sure that the loopers are correctly threaded and under the foot.

Place the needles in the highest position and rethread the needles.

The loopers MUST be threaded before the needles in order for it to sew.

Make sure that the threads are pulled fully down into the tensions.
