I know that this isn't much help, but it will be more than worth while to get a factory service manual. I'm a DIY guy and have got one for each of my Harleys and My Indian as well. These are the thing to most any type of repair or up grade information you'll need. You'll be needing all of the specs like the Ft. Lbs of torque as well as the sequence of the bolt pattern. One thing that might be helpful: Do not torque in one motion. I always start with the bolts snug, then go up in torque in about 25% increments. IE: example Max torque of 65 foot lbs: 1st torque @15 ft. lbs on all head bolts in the correct sequence, to 35 ish, to 55ish, to the required 65 ft. lbs or torque. If at all possible, bring motor to normal running temp and re-torque to the specified ft. lbs. of torque. This is to make certain that any differences from the motor being at running temp is all seated up to the gaskets and correct pressure is correct. Have fun, up grades are always cool.

There is a particular torquing pattern that you must use to torque the heads on the Evo Sporty. Contact me directly off forum and I'll send you a jpeg picture of the pattern and spec. This site will not allow me to send a file larger than 150Kb. [email protected] remind me of what you need.

Check with your local Wal*Mart store. They carry a supply of motorcycle batteries.
