check timing, adjust valve clearance, check vacuum leaks. these are some that need attention.

Check your transmission oil dip stick....look at the color of it. If its Brownish Black in color tranny is toast. Start there. Hope this helps you to start with.

Not without more troubleshooting. You would need to know what is killing the motor, only when turning one direction.
Could be a wiring harness problem, or any one of a number of components including a binding power steering system.
Is the check engine light on ? Does it start right back up when it dies ?

It could be the coil is getting old. They begin to lose function when they warm up.

As you have inferrred the car has a fuel or ignition problem. What has been suggested can also be a reason if this was not changed in the car's life time.
However for checking from your end you can first try to check the fuel, fuel tank- specially if this is outside check if water has gone into the tank which can cause this similar problem. Also dirt or fuel left within over a period of time must be checked for impurities.
Next the fuel pump , the fuel filter must be checked. if there is good flow then you need to check the fault when the car stalls after 15 minutes- this can be due to poor flow being pumped when the temperature goes up.
Finally check the HT coils when it heats up as the same fault can occur. Clean the electrical to the HT coils, the plugs and the fuel line.
