I just bought a 2001 Harley Heritage springer. Does anyone one know how to rebuild the front end with the new bushings?
Reallly there is no problem with it right now, but I understand that they wear out and I would like to know how to fix them and where to get the bushings

It's a very involved process and you can be seriously injured if the job is not done properly! Get a service manual and read the rebuilding proceedure. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, take it to the dealer.

It should but it all depends on the length of the neck. Measure the neck and the bearing tube that goes through the neck. If it;s long enough it should fit and you might have to replace the bearings.
Your engine is equipped with hydraulic tappets just like your car engine has. There is no way or need to adjust the valves. If you're hearing a slight tapping noise under the rocker box covers, this is normal. If you're hearing a loud tapping noise that comes and goes, it could be a roller on the end of a tappet going bad and you should have it looked into.
Have the balance checked on the front tire, My heritage springer did the same thing and the front tire had slung the weight off of the front tire causing it to be unbalanced and bounce causing a vibration at speeds of 30mph on up.
