1994 lebaron My lebaron after warming up surges while driving and then has a rough idle. And very little power like it is trying to flood out. Any help would be appreciated

check throttle body and check for codes

Check the operation of the coolant temp sensor.
Check the thermostat is also working properly.

check out the idle air control valve and the passages

is the check engine on? are there any trouble codes? one posible cause would be a restricted fuel filter, a worn fuel pump, or a restricted exhaust system.

I think this TSB will solve your problem even know your car is older.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
An intermittent rough idle may occur during cold engine operation, within 3 minutes after engine start up, in rainy weather and temperatures of approximately 30° to 50°F.
PARTS REQUIRED:
Quantity Part Number Part Name 1 4288298 Idle Air Control Motor (IAC) REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Remove A/C motor.
2. Install new IAC motor (P/N 4288298) and rubber O-ring, torque to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs).

CAUTION: The rubber o-ring must be installed with the IAC motor for proper operation.

I would also recommend doing a fuel pressure test to see if it loses fuel pressure overnight.

i think if you checked the sparking plugs and map sensors then check your distributer its maybe not delivering the current nedded to perform the spark to some of the cylinders

put a throttle position sensor on the throttle boby this should fix the problem!

tps sencor or maf sencor

probly needs a complete tune up and a timing chain
