SOURCE: I have a 230E Mercedes benz 1987 with an engine

The heavy vibration during braking sounds like it is warped disc rotors. This car has disc brakes on all wheels, so it could be one or all of them causing the problem. One way to identify whether it is the front or the rear is to observe the steering wheel while braking and feeling the vibrations. If the steering wheel is shimmying at the same frequency as the vibration, it is almost certain that it is the front. If not it is the rear. Do a visual inspection of your pads and rotors. You will probably see scoring in the rotors. It is a fairly easy do-it-yourself job with improved braking and that smooth Mercedes ride we all love.

Looking for 1986 Mercedes Benz 300 TD Wagon, operators manual. Have a cabin noise problem and have fixed almost everything I could find wrong and still have the noise problem. Any thoughts ? Thank you...

Couple of possibilities RE; manual - Ebay, Amazon.com or check with any good parts store (Autozone, Advance, etc..) and they carry Haynes or Clymers manuals both are pretty good. RE: Cabin noise - can you give a detailed description?

Mercedes 300 se no reverse when cold 1/2 mile later when gearbox is warm i have reverse all day

Check and make sure that the transmission isn't over or under filled. If not, the clutches that operate the reverse gear Are probably too worn, and don't operate until they are expanded by heat.

1992 mercedes benz 300 a/c not cooling

Has to take 134. R-12 is banned and no longer availabl. Ac should be serviced by a person fully knowledgeable of the system and in possession of proper tools. Lack of either could cause further problems.- sorry. They sell kits for quick charges but those do cause problems at times because it skips certain procedures.
