I'm needing a diagram for the spark plugs

Here is the firing order and spark plug wire routing diagram for a 2006 Chevy Impala LT 3.9 V6:
Firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6
Spark plug wire routing (starting from the driver's side):
  • Cylinder 1: connect to the coil tower closest to the driver's side headlight
  • Cylinder 3: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 1
  • Cylinder 5: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 3
  • Cylinder 2: connect to the coil tower closest to the passenger side headlight
  • Cylinder 4: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 2
  • Cylinder 6: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 4
Note: Make sure to route the wires properly to avoid cross-firing.

I changed the rotor and cap on my 1988 plymouth reliant station wagon (2.5 liter). It started with poor exhilaration and now will turn over but won't start.

If I remember correctly the wires must be clipped into the distributer cap. Possibly this was not done or the old wires were reused and damaged while removing. The wire end needs to be squeezed together with pliers to remove. The wire ends pushed down into the cap is what the rotor contacts with and makes for spark to spark plugs. Make sure wires are in proper firing order which would be 1-3-4-2 with engine cylinder left to right 1-2-3-4. So go back into your engine compartment and double check what was done, I think you will find your problem. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

I just changed my wires and spark plug, air filter, started it up on plug was lose and came out, i put it back. After the tune up now car is misfiring, like there is a dead cylinder, im thinking it could...

First thing is to verify everything you did!!!!! verify wires are on correct plug and coil tower using a diagram for your engine. Next look for a vacuum hose you knocked off or forgot to put back on. My money is on a crossed up wire! good luck!!

I replaced my spark plug wires on my 1996 chevy truck. may have crossed one, need a diagram from the spark plugs to the distributer cap.

Since you didn't state whether it is a V6 or V8, I'll give you both.

V6 -4.3Liter
Firing Order is 1-6-5-4-3-2
Distributor rotor turns Clockwise
Number 1 spark plug tower on distributor cap, faces the front of the engine.

->Drivers side, spark plug order in engine, starting from the Front going back:
1-3-5
->Passenger side, spark plug order in engine,
starting from the Front going back:
2-4-6

If it's Electronic, the distributor cap has a Left side, (Drivers side), and a Right side, (Passenger side)
Starting from the Front, going back on the Left side,
3-1-5
Starting from the Front going back on the Right side,
2-4-6

V8-5.0, 5.7, and 7.4Liter
Firing Order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Distributor rotor turns Clockwise
Number 1 spark plug tower on distributor cap,
faces Front, towards the Drivers side.

Electronic distributor cap has two sides. Drivers, (Left), side and Passenger, (Right), side.
Starting from Front going back on Drivers side,
1-7-3-5
Starting from Front going back on Passenger side,
8-2-4-6

Spark plug order in engine, starting from Front going back, Drivers side:
