Put air in whichever tire is low and the light should go off. Use a manual tire pressure gauge to find out which tire needs the air.

I have put the amount of air that is suppose to be in the tires and it still will not go off.

How to reset the low tire pressure light in dashboad on a 2004 chevy impala

There should be a reset button in the fuse pannel. It can be used to reset the low tire pressure light , and the change oil light.
Instructions should be in owners manual , or you can google it.
Chevy dealership should do it for free in my opinion.

Is the RPM gauge and the transmission connected for a 2001 chevy impala? The Anti light brakes and traction control light turn on. Now the transmission does seem to shift properly and the RPM gauge moves.

Anti lock brakes and traction controls will light if there is too much tire pressure differential. That mean a low tire turns more rpm in a mile than a full tire so it constantly thinks it is slipping in either /both taking off or braking... Tire pressure is important. Check it!
