Sounds like your car needs a tune-up, specifically, the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve, and/of the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve.
Components checked/replaced during a tune-up are: air filter motor oil motor oil filter breather filter fuel filter(s) fuel strainer PCV valve EGR valve spark plugs spark plug wires ECM or distributor cap & rotor cabin air filter transmission oil filter transmission oil engine coolant check all vacuum hoses and lines
How many miles are on the engine? When was your last tune up? If it's been a while then I would start by changing the fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, oil change, etc.
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. There are a few things that can cause this. You need to make sure you don't have a vacuum leak in the engine. Make sure your pcv valve is not clogged and working. You could have a clogged fuel filter or air filter. If you haven't had a tune up in a long time, get it done. At the least, change the spark plugs/coils, wires, coil packs. These are more of the common issues that cause this. If you have a check engine light on, take it to Autozone and have it scanned. They do it for free and it can lead you to your problem. If not, check all of the above parts and eliminate what doesn't need changed. Best regards.
try wires or ur coil packs very important these go often really a headache good luck,or idle air control valve,or purge valve these control hesitation and acceleration too. good luck
is the check engine light on? if yes scan computer system and retrieve codes then go from there. if check engine light is not on go to basic tune up (change air and fuel filter spark plugs ignition wires clean throttle body with choke cleaner change pcv valve etc. )
I've never seen a samurai without a PCV valve hooked up. You sure its just missing it cuase that is what releases the pressure build up in the engine. If not working/installed then you're gonna get piston blow by, oil burning, and a rough running engine.
