In the oil pan. The pan needs to be removed, and sometimes the transmission needs to be removed, or lift the engine up off the motor mounts. Not an easy task.

Check the water pump in the front of your engine for bearings going out. Have your tranny fluid changed & have the 2 shift selonods replaced, if the tranny is OK.
Check the wire harness to the windshield washer pump. The pump is located in the washer fluid reservoir, if the wires are good. Chances are the washer pump needs to be replaced and you can pick up the new pump st Auto Zone or Parts Source and they will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done with common tools. try yhe pickup coil or ignition module wich are both located on the distributor or the igniton coil.im going through the same thing.all i have left to try is the ignition module.if i get it ill be sure to let you know
