Chrysler 300m wont start changed fuel pump. Was acting like it wanted to start before i changed the fuel pump, with starting fluid. the car acts like its going to start but wont. The relays have been checked but the auto shut down relay makes a clicking sound. any suggestions.

the pcm need to be reprogram. anytime a used pcm goes into a dodge it has reprogramed

sounds like fuel filter or screen on fuel pump plugged

you can spray WD40 or starting fluid into the intake and see if acts like it wants to fire, if it does then it is with the fuel system , the fuel pump(maybe a fuse), fuel filter, lines or injectors. Now if it does not act like it wants to fire then it is with the ignition system, distributor, senor, coil, wire/plugs. Hope this helps Tim

Sounds like fuel pump is getting weak. Need to have the fuel pressure checked when its acting up.

Try the fuel Pump have the mechanic check the fuel switch

try to work the unlock and lock buttons on your FOB

Change spark plugs wires and coil pack.

change the crank senser.

did you check you fuel filter and your fuel pump? i had the same problem and once i replaced the fuel filter its been fine since
