Sounds like the starter failed> If you have a small hammer lightly rap on the starter acouple of times > if it starts that will confirm you need a starter> Repkace the starter ASAP. if not call a tow truck> NOTE: don't get burned if the vehicle is hot > let it cool down.
Have you checked the starter solenoid.it will be mounted on fender near battery, will have a large wire coming from battery to terminal on one side and a large wire going to starter from terminal on the other side.Will alsp have a small wire coming from ignition switch , you should have 12 volts on both big terminals when the small terminal is supplied with 12 volts.Good luck!
there is a loose connection on the small wire that hooks to the starter. jack up the car and tap on the wire and starter and it will crank. i had to put a new crimp connector on mine. its starting just fine now. done this to 3 1994's and 2 1993's good luck let me know how it goes. sawdust46
