Power loss on mercedes c 250 td

Technical question

I had a problem with my 250TD - it lost power at about 70mph. It turned out to be nothing but a split hose on the turbo circulation system. Wasn't obvious as the hose collapses under pressure (for me, critical mass was at about 70mph) which then starves the engine of oxygen. Also cleaned the ducting while I was at it and gained an extra 100miles per tank of fuel!

Blend door issue? Is there air blowing any where else like floor or at your feet? I would start there. If you have air elsewhere, then your issue is blend door. May sure the flow of air moves as you change the setting.

Mercedes 250 td air in fuel lines

I had the same problem with 1999 E300 TD 6-cylinder in-line engine.
The problem was the o-ring on the pre-filter. Make sure all o-rings are tight and try putting small amount of silicone grease when installing them.
