I have a Crossfire 2005 (base model) with 31k miles that has had the issue with stalling after running for a while. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor but after a couple weeks of running fine the...

I have a 2005 crossfire as well and it did the exact thing. Finally took it to a Mercedes shop and they found one of the crystals were cracked on my rely, it sits under the hood on the side of the wheel well. It's a black box. The only way they found the cracked crystal was with a magnifier glass. Not cheap by the way, but have had no further problems since that was done..

2004 Crossfire just dies (rarely and randomly) when driving or sitting at a light. Check engine light is on; low coolant light is also on... intermittently. Had it checked at a shop; no codes were found...

the coolant light won't cause it to stall more likely to be a crank shaft sensor possibly only way to find out though is to replace it and see what happens sometimes these things don't throw up codes and would need the scan tool to be on the car when it stalls and won't start again the crank sensor cools down then will work again

2004 crossfire engine dies at speed

Hello Paul, You stated your crossfire stalls and the usually restarts. It could be several things that cause this... If the check engine light is on, have it scanned to determine what caused it to come on - It sounds like you are having an intermittent crankshaft position sensor failure. I hope this information is helpful...Happy Holidays.

Whats wrong with my car? its a 2004 chrystler crossfire since its been cold the only light that comes on is the tire pressure light but now it wont turn over everything works but it will not crank all the...

Hows your battery and connections. If the engine is turning over slow suspect the battery is the end of its life. If it turns over great then it may be time to check the tune up. Cars out of tune become hard to start in the cold. If tune up check the spark plugs first you might get off cheap.

Just fueled up 93 octane. drove approx 1/2 mile to work. started the car, check engine light came on and runs extremely rough and stalls. could it be the fuel and how do i check it. 2004 chrysler...

I would suspect the fuel is the problem, most likely water is in the fuel, but get the codes read to see what fault shows up that turned on the check engine light.

ETS Off light is on, check engine light is on, engine starts hard, when started idles ok untill you rev the engine then it stalls.

the ets light will come on when you have a driveability problem it would be the best bet the check the dtcs and fix those for the check engine light first clear everything then drive it.

Periodically the crossfire won't start.

This sounds like one of those interesting problems. What you are going to have to do is find a light bulb type of electrical tester, and a schematic for the wiring on the car (or get a mechanic to do it). When the problem comes up again, you have to find where the power to the module is not coming through a weak connection. It is something that warms up and then breaks connection.
The first thing to do is change the fuses for the engine controls. Fuses are cheap and sometimes they develop a crack that opens when they see a rise in temperature from a heavy electrical load or warm or cold weather changes. Other things that cause problems are the wires that connect to the battery, and splices in those wires which are usually hidden inside a bundle of wires. Also inspect the connectors that hook up to the engine module and make sure the pins are not pulling out from tension in the wires and other defects.
You said it doesn't turn over, so also check the connections at the starter. Sometimes main power is routed through there.
