2009 Honda Pilot

I just purchased a 2009 honda pilot and it feels as if the transmission lurches as I accelerate and when I let of the accelerator and it begins to slow down. Is this because of the new system which closes cylinders when not needed?

I have a 2009 Honda pilot. has a tapping noise when in reverse.

VTM 4 is a traction control system designed for better traction and fuel efficiency. I'd get it back to the dealer ASAP. There seems to be a coil malfunction in the rear axle. I'd make them fully check out the rear axle in addition to checking out the coil sensors themselves. Best of luck to you!
