The code is cooling fan fault. Could be bad cooling fan, bad sensor(s) (there's more than 1 for your fan. Have a good shop look at it for you, it can get pretty detailed for diagnosis.

Codes PO480 and PO481 cooling fan 1 & 2 control circuit. what and where is that on a 2001 buick century?

The relays should be in the fuse relay box in the engine compartment.
The codes mean the computer tries to activate the fans and nothing happens. Could be the relays or a wiring problem.

Po481 sensor for 2005 Chevy uplander

There isn't any tester, code reader or scan tool, that told you what to replace

Use the internet to study OBD2 Vehicle Systems

Codes only indicate a possible fault in a system &
point you to that system

From there, you diagnose, using the code & reference
material, to find something wrong,& then resolve
of coarse, by making the repair or fix.

Would seem, you have a Cooling Fan Circuit Mafunction,
to diagnose

If you plan on working on your own vehicles, you should
buy all the factory service manuals,to learn how systems work

Also buy the Powertrain/Emissions Diagnostic Manual &
Wiring Diagram Book & continue your OBD studys

If you don't do that, leave the hood closed & seek help at
a local repair shop.

the ect sensor could also present this code because the vehicle is thinking that the vehicle is not getting hot enough to trigger the fans to kick on. a perfect way to see this is to try and get a scanner on the vehicle with live data feed so you can see what that sensor is reading
