SOURCE: I need timing specs for 3.5 2002 Isuzu Axiom

I have found that one can mark (Paint pen) the gears and teeth (One tooth and one corresponding belt rib) on each gear prior to removing the belt. You can then overlay the old belt on a new belt and mark the same spots on the new belt and then install the belt so your marks on the gears and belt line up as they did before you removed the old belt. Given that your timing was right to start with....if done correctly, this will work.

Working clearance for Isuzu 4jg2 turbo diesel n timing marks

The only tune-up procedures for diesel engines are to change the fuel filter, drain the water separator and check engine speed. If the injection pump or timing belt have been removed, pump timing must also be adjusted (see Fuel System ). See General Information And Maintenance for filter and water separator service.

Necesito el diagrama del cicuito electrico de un motor isuzu 4jg2, del 2004, de una isuzu Bighorn, donde lo puedo conseguir

spanish on English forum? really?
I need circuit electrical diagram of a 4JG2 Isuzu engine, 2004, an Isuzu Bighorn , where I can get it.
what country? we cant guess that, and i guess you dont know engines ,EFI , spark and many parts are all different by that fact.
if the USA car on this USA forum is a 4JG2
then all this is found at alldata.com
it a diesel engine, and we dont have them here.
it is direct injected diesel. sold in most markets, but not here.
Our isuzu dealers are gone now, they left uSA. for passenger cars.
so cant go there.
then go to yours and ask them?
"In 2002, the Trooper was discontinued in the United States."
so now i know car is not a USA car. and that our books dont cover cars not sold here.
so why not ask Isuzu this, go to the dealer buy the FSM book.
or join any non USA forum for isuzu. trucks. troopers

try here, link is random

http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?t=16663

they speak english only there too.
i dont see any spanish speaking isuzu forums.

best wishes.

Where can i find timing marks for cam and injection pump for 4jg2 engine?

Hi, no marks as such, but with the crank marks lined up to TDC No/1 if you look at the cam pulley and the pump pulley you should see a hole in both at about 2o'clock position, these holes should line up with corresponding holes of which you screw a bolt in each ( I think they are 8mm metric ) by doing this the bolts hold both pulleys in the correct position with crank marks aligned, cheers hope that helps

Diagram of markings on timing belt

I repaired a 3.1 4JG2 but the mechanic doesn´t know how to set the injection time. I can see the marks on the crank and camshaft as well as the inyection pulley but if I try to install the belt "just like that", the injection goes wrong with explosions and white smoke. Can anyone help please? Is there any other procedure to follow to time the inyection?
thanks in advance
