I do not have a service manual to use to schedule maintenance on my 2010 Buick Luzerne - is there such a manual to follow to ensure that particular maintenance is performed on a prescribed basis ?

Get your hands on a Chiltons/Haynes repair manual that covers your vehicle. Has a section that leads set-by-step with pictures and diagrams on how to remove door panels, fix components inside the doors etc.

Or a bad throttle body perhaps

you could either google that, or call a local hyundai dealer to find out. (too easy).

You create your own with all your vehicles

Treat them all the same & keep a log book

You should be doing a lot more than anything
out there especially MFG Scheduled Maint
Follow that alone you will break down

Call or stop by any dealer, they'll be more than happy to photo copy one for you. You might invest in a Haynes or Clymers manual available from Amazon.com or any good parts store

timing belt at 105000 miles,transmission service when the car tells you. it will say service trans. side note only have trans serviced at volvo dealer. no one else can rest trans to the new fluid. belive me it really matters

The best thing you can do is look in you owners manual and look up service interval and look up you vehicle under rough service and follow the guide

The maintenance schedule is an outline and should be followed if you want to keep your vehicle in good condition. the maintenance items listed in the schedule are performed at their set intervals for a reason. Manufacturers have found the wear limits on certain parts and those parts may need to be serviced or replaced at those intervals or catastrophic failures may result.

The lexus 2004 RX330 owners maual doesn't have the maintenance schedule in it. No charts, no recommended replacement of parts, fluids. Where do I get the RX330 maintenance schedule? ...and not just at what mileage service is due!

Unless you have a particular symptom or a 'service engine soon' light on I would go buy the following maintenance schedule:
1. Change fuel filter EVERY 10,000 miles.
2. Check air filter at the same time. (held up to a light, you should easily see the light through it).
3. Replace spark plugs EVERY 15,000 miles and plug wires (cap & rotor if so equipped) every 30,000.
4. Don't forget tire pressure - this can have a drastic impact on MPG. Many 'newer' tires require a maximum 44 psi, yet many of us still go by the 35 psi standard of old never looking on the tire. All tires are clearly marked as to maximum psi and remember the average tire gains 1psi of pressure for every 10 degrees.
