I have a 1999 Chysler LHS and I want to disable the function that repositions the powered side view mirrors when you shift into reverse.

My 1999 LHS is not shifting up,it seems to be stuck in 1st. The speedometer isn't working also.The fluid is full and it starts and runs fine.I only have reverse and low gear.

Trans could be stuck in limp in mood, may just need to replace the speed sensor, or diagnose the no speedo problem.. Trans relies on speed sensor info to shift

Put the control (on the driver door for your side view mirrors) onto the passenger mirror position put the car in reverse, mirror tilts down and shows you the curb! (this only works on some models like the 3.0 not sure of what year of 1.8t)

Rear view mirror was wire ripped off

U will have 2 isolate all the wires so they cant touch each other & the body work -steel - just use some electrical tape 2 prevent wires touching!!!!! Or open the door & look 4 the plug C if U can pull on the plug 2 disconnect it!!!! Good luck!!!!

1997 chysler LHs timing belt.. #1 bank runing to rich.tooth off and 1-3 cylinders off which side is # one bank

Check, for 1997 Chrysler LHS 3.5 liter SOHC V-6 VIN "F"... bank #1 is refer at cylinder #1

Removal & Installation
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the door mirror cover (3).
  3. Remove the three bolts and disconnect the connector (2), then remove the mirror assembly (1).
  4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Mirror, Power — Outside Rear View NOTE: This procedure applies to both RH and LH power outside rear view mirrors.

Removal
  1. Remove the front door trim panel (23942). Refer to Section 01-05 for the removal procedure.
  1. Remove the two outside rear view mirror inside mounting hole cover screws and the outside rear view mirror mounting hole cover (17K709) from the front door (20124).




  1. Remove the wire clip.
  1. Disconnect the power outside rear view mirror electrical connector.




  1. Remove the three power outside rear view mirror bolts and the power outside rear view mirror.




Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the three power outside rear view mirror bolts to 3-4 Nm (27-35 lb-in). Glass, Outside Mirror

if you have power when key is on for turn signals on both sides of the fuse,you will probably need to replace the multi function switch

Shift to reverse, adjust the mirror for normal, and save that to memory for that operator. This is presuming that you have not found a setting to turn off reverse mirror settings.....

I need wiring diagram for a 1999 Ford f250 side view power mirror. I am installing 2003 telescoping side view mirrors and the color code in different.

make your self a jumper set of wires to test with. Find out what makes what move on the old unit,write down the color wire,then apply power and ground to the new unit onw wire at a time.Mark down the color and what function it did.after testing both units then match your research and put the wires together.I wished I were there.Good Luck!
