I HAVE A2000 ASTRO VAN IT QUIT WHILE DRIVING. I TRIED TO START BACK BUT BATTERY WENT DEAD, SO I GOT A BOOST, IT WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START. I GOT BATTERY TESTED IT WAS NOT HOLDING ENOUGH CRANKING AMPS SO I BOUGHT NEW1. DIDNT HELP! IT WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START. THE FUEL PUMP IS COMING ON BUT I DONT KNOW ABOUT PRESSURE. ALSO REPLACED INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO.

Sounds like a crank sensor issue.

alarm has a trouble problem. check fuse for alarm, if factorymay need to take to dealer for reset

Sounds like a bad ignition module. The module does two functions. It runs the ignition coil and also delivers the signal to the ecm to run the injectors. Sounds like it isn't putting out a tach signal.

You are going to want to check your engine pullys. I replaced battery and starter before I figured out my AC was froze up. If that belt dont turn it will not start. Or even crank over.

sounds like the fuel pump is going bad?

Check your alternator. My van did something similar. I was driving down the road and all of the sudden my windows, a/c, radio, door locks, speedometer, everything electrical went down. We stopped and tried to crank it and it wouldn't. Then finally it cranked up went another mile before the fuel pump quit working too. It was the alternator. I had to have someone come jump me off and follow me to the parts store and then home for it to be fixed.

Sounds like a dead battery.

Check your fuel pressure sounds like your fuel pump went out

crank shaft sen. is easy enough to change.its mounted near timing chain cover,cam sen.is somewhat harder,its in the distributor,id doubt that both are defect

Sounds like the battery. Have the battery and alternator tested and make sure battery cables are clean.
