check your climate control that could be the problem not opening all the way, also if not enough hot air comming out coul be the blend door some cars they used to use vacuum instead electricity to change air outlet some times these hoses get cluged theyr conected to the climate control. now try a cardboard in front of the radiator this will give you extra heat.
check the coolant first.it's easier. Then remove thermostat and place in boiling water to see if it is able to open and remove to let it close. If it stays open replace it.
Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open and the water is circulating freely. When you turn your heater on most of the hot water from the motor is being cooled quicker that just with the radiator. You can take the thermostat out without tearing up the gasket, if your real careful, and place it in a pot of water. Heat the water on the stove, and right before it boils the thermostat should open up. Then close when it cools back down.
replace the thermostat and make sure the coolong system is not rusted, if itis flush it and then replace the thermostat, it may be sticking closed at times, also make sure u are not low on coolant
Everyone jumps to the thermostat because its a good place to start. If, when the engine is truly at op temp, the upper and lower radiator hoses are both hot, its not the thermostat. If you have the temp control to hot and both heater core hoses are hot, its not the valve or control. Check the blend door actuator (behind the glove box), and then the blend door itself as it may be broken (its plastic) and not closing off the cold air.
Check for an OBII code. have it scanned for free at an autoparts store. it is not the thermostat since you have already replaced it 3 times.Check for the temperature control sensor during scanning..
Pls try to check/replace your distributor cap and/or the rotor. A friendly reminder, pls check that the spark plug gaps are within specifications, the wider the gap the the more arcing from the rotor to the bottom terminals of the distributor cap, the faster the burning/deterioration. If at all possible, try to replace with Bosch or Beck Arnley brands.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
