Well that all depends... is it spinning over but wont fire up? if so remove the black plastic tube that comes from the air filter, from the engine side where it connects to the engine and spray some into the throttle body.. (the silver 3in hole) about 2 seconds worth.. 1,1 thou.....2. then try to start it... if its spinning over (but wont fire up) hold the key for a while (5 seconds)in the starting position. if it still doesnt start, repeat the spray prossess... if it STILL doesnt start, make sure your getting fuel to the engine.. my bet is it starts right up... DONT REV IT UP!!!!! just let it run till its warm then take her for a nice short drive, if all is well, take her to the drag races!!! ha ha good luck!

My1998 explorer just quit it won't start i got new

The 98 explorer is equipped with a power surge system to protect internal vehicle wiring, what this means is that if there is a short in the vehicles wiring the alternator will disengage. A way to tell if it is faulty wiring is to pull all the fuses out of the fuse block and try to start it if the engine turns over the problem is internal wiring. If not then you have to put all the fuses back.
