It sounds like the fuel pump is slowly losing pressure. But you're in luck. All you have to do is take out the back seat to access the fuel pump. It's a whole lot easier than having to drop the tank. There's actually an access cover. Please rate my assistance and leave a testimonial.

I have a 1993 honda civic and it ran out of gas so I put gas in the car and now the car still won't start

Could be just air in the line, will take a bunch of cranking to get it out. Fastest way is to pour a bit of gas into the throttle body and start the car . Do that a few times while pumping the accelerator pedal and it should get rid of it and start normally. Worst case scenario, you burnt out the old fuel pump by running it dry.

I bought an acura legend 92 ls and for some reason it has a little trouble starting

it could be a fuel pressure problem, or the none return valve is not working. (regulator) could even be a blocked filter in the fuel line. worst case its the pump.

Car won't start.

hi there, first off you need to make sure the voltage is good, then make sure your spark plugs are firing properly(all 4) then take off the fuel line coming out of the fuel rail to the tank(not the one coming into fuel rail from fuel pump) and swing the engine and make sure the fuel is flowing. Once you can verify that everything in the above is operational then we can continue with the diagnosis of the car.

Worst case scenario - fuel filter, spark plugs and /or leads, distributor cap, coil pack or fuel pump may need changing.
