I have a 1996 gmc sonoma. The blinkers quit working.I tried the flasher and it showed that both sides were blinking.I turned off the flasher and tried the blinkers and they worked, well at least one time.I...

You have some burned out filaments. On dual filament bulbs the "blinkers" I am taking it to mean the turn signals. They are one filament. The "Flashing Caution lights, work on a relay circuit, which sends a larger amp current into the opposite filament then the turn signal. Check front & rear bulbs.

On my 2005 grand priex my front blinkers are new and all it does it turn on it dont blink what could be wrong

If both front & rear lights light up but dont flash the turn signal flasher is bad. Verify all bulbs are lit, on both sides of vehicle front & rear.

The blinkers on are ford don't work we tried to but in fuses but all the fuses work

If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. TURN SIGNAL, BRAKE & HAZARD LIGHTS

No Turn Signal Operation (blinker)The turn signal lights in your car are a basic electrical system that controls the front and rear blinker lights to alert the intended direction of the vehicle. We have listed some of the most common problems and repair troubleshooting tips below:
Troubleshooting Procedure
To start troubleshooting this problem:
  • Turn the key to the on position (do not start engine)
  • Inspect the system fuse located in the fuse panel and replace if needed. If you cannot find the location of the blinker fuse consult your owner's manual or an online repair manual
  • When a blinker flasher fails it can cause blinker lights to say on, not blink, or not go on at all. To test the blinker system flasher, remove the flasher unit and insert a jumper wire between the two terminals. If blinker stays on in both directions without blinking, replace the flasher. If you cannot find the location of the blinker flasher consult your owners manual or an online repair manual.
