This could be due to a faulty coolant temperature switch allowing too much fuel to enter the cylinder. I would also check all maintenance items (i.e. filters) just to be sure. This coud also be due to a faulty ignition module needing to cool for a moment. I am a little further north of where you are so don't hesitate to ask for further assisitance. Sounds like they need to put someone else a little more experienced on the vehicle!
