  2. Evaporative emission canister purge valve on engine
  3. HVAC vac parts?
  4. brake booster..
  5. EGR vac, reg solenoid.
  6. Throttle body leak vacuum or gummed up throttle valve.
  7. IAC , stuck, a vacuum + elect, part for idle controls
  8. PCV valve leaking or hose to it cracked, is Vaccum.
engine problems? no hint as to what's up doc.
Scanning PCM shows DTC errors , ??
fails smog for evap or egr? both?
brake problems?
HVAC problems?

Need vacuum system diagram for 1992 mercedes 300e

Big breather from valve cover to air cleaner, the small vac line runs from there to the FPR.

These next are standing in front of the car:

Intake manifold lower outer runs to EZL

Intake manifold lower inner (right side) goes to switchover vac valve on driver fender. The other side of this vac valve goes to the throttle body

Intake manifold lower inner (left side) goes to switchover vac valves on passenger side fender. These then go back to the EGR valve once making a loop under the distributor cap for whatever reason.

Intake manifold rear runs to a 'three' way valve (or 'Y' connector) on the secondary firewall. This is usually a vac leak.

REMOVE EGR VALVE CLEAN OUT THE CARBON INSIDE THE EGR VALVE PORT HOLE IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WHERE EGR VALVE SITS.CAREFULLY USE A PIECE OF CLOTHES RACK OR A TINY SCREW DRIVER CLEAN CARBON OUT ROUND HOLE.USE A SHOP VAC TO VACUUM UP THE DEBRIS TO KEEP FROM GETTING INSIDE INTAKE.DONT USE SHOP VAC IF YOU HAVE ANY FUEL LEAKS OR SMELL GAS FUMES UNDER THE HOOD.

2003 4.0 V6 explorer with the vacume line off the egr it runs, but runs rough. when the vacume line is hooked up to the egr it cuts off. i put a new egr on and it did the same thing please asap..

First. Check the vacum routing from the egr. facing the engine, the vac.
line should go to the right and connect to the egr vacum regulator
solenoid. The line from the solenoid to manifold vacum. The solenoid
is also connected to the powertrain ctrl. module And some models,
have a egr sensor. the two vac.lines from the sensor(if equipped)go to
the exaust below the egr valve. The three wires from the sensor go to the pcm. At this I would plug in the obd2 scanner if no vac.leaks or
bad connections have been found. This can narrow the field greatly.
You can stop by an autozone/napa etc. they will scan it for free.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

If the fuel regulator is seeping gas, replace it first. There is a good chance the diaphragm has a hole in it and is feeding fuel through the vacuum line directly to the intake, causing extremely rich fuel mixture. (Hence the strong exhaust and burning eyes) As a matter of fact, if you pull the vac line off and turn on the key, I bet fuel sprays out. Be careful not to start a fire on a hot engine. Once you get this repaired, erase the codes and retest. You could find yourself with only one code, maybe even none. I wish you luck. Emissions can make you pull your hair out.

No air from vents

you have a vacume leal to the heating a/c system it has gone to defalt by blowing the defroster check the vacume lines coming of the passenger sid of the intake manifold ther will be a few hoses the one you are looking for is the one going into the firewall and will have a one way vacune ckeck valve in it if it in in backwards it will not alow any vacume to go to the system and it will not operate. ck to make sure that you have vac from the manifold to the line into the fire wall and if you do then the problem in under the dash and can be alittle more troble than you want to undertake.ch under the hood first as the lines tend to crack with heat and age.

EGR valve code initiated check engine light.

If you are getting an Insufficient EGR flow code, it is likely the DPFE sensor is bad or the EGR ports are plugged in the Intake. Very rarely do these trucks actually need the valve replaced. But it is located on top of the engine, under that plastic cover that covers the throttle body. It is round, about 3 inches in diameter. It has one vac line going to the top of it and a metal pipe from the exhaust manifold going to the side.

Gmc turbo

There is 1 or 2 vac solenoid on driverside rear of valve cover.
if there is only one then that one connects to the vac pump and wastegate actuator on turbo. if two vac solenoids, then other one goes to EGR valve on intake cover.
