1992 jeep cheerkie codes 12 24 17 55

Code 12; Means the battery was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles. Ignore this code.

Code 24; Throttle position sensor input voltage is above the maximum acceptable voltage.

Code 17; Engine is cold too long. engine coolant temp remains below normal during vehicle travel. (thermostat)

Code 55; Means end of message/codes.

Your problem is most likely due to a defect thermostat that is stuck open. Replace the thermostat.

Jeep wrangelr Crank Position Sensor

wall5552: there were two engines used in 1992 Jeep Wranglers.
A 2.5 liter and a 4.0 liter. HOWEVER>>>> The location for the crank angle sensor is the same for both.
It is located on the bell housing up near the front at about the 10:00 PM position.
The Cam position sensor is located in the Distributor on both engines as well.

How do i access the driver side rear blinker on a 1992 jeep cherokee limited

Open the hatch, there are some 10 millimeter screws on the inside. Take those out, gently pull on the whole taillight assembly. the whole assembly should come off. Then turn the light plugs counterclockwise, change the bulbs. Be very careful - these bulbs can break when you squeeze them to pull them out.
