    most of the times i need to turn on twice the ignition key to start on my car (nissan 2003 1.8) and some times dont go faster then 40 mph doesn't increase the rpm.

Under the hood inside the power distribution box. The fuel pump relay should be next to the fuel pump fuse. The information will be on the inside of the fuse box cover.

Xterra car quit running. had no spark @ distributor. replaced crank sensor and got spark. no gas pressure. replaced fuel pump, new one do not work. no power to it. checked fuses/relays, no luck. ran...

the fuel pump fuse is fuse #1 15amp in the inside fuse box ( left side of dash behind fuse box cover ) the fuel pump relay is behind left side of dash ------- cavity #2 & #5 at the relay should have battery voltage in start and run cavity # 3 is the power out to fuel pump and cavity #1 is the ground that is turned on by the on board commputer.

Check for 12 volts power at the fuel pump harness. If no power is going to the pump, check the fuel pump relay. Also, check the fuel pump inertia switch. Ford usually has it on either inside left or right rear trunk fenders.

Check fuse for the fuel pump. Normally on the fuse panel inside the engine compartment on the fender.

Besides the fuses there is also a fuel pul relay. should be located under the hood in one of the relay and fuse boxes.It should be listed on the chart on the inside of the relay/fuse box cover.

Not getting fuel

hi there,
check your fuel pump fuse on fuse box panel it was located driver seat left side on dash board or on right side of engine fuse box,pull out cover cover, on the backside cover there is specified fuse find fuel pump fuse replace if busted.how could you know if busted on fuse there is thin wire serve as connection if this was cut off inside means it was busted,on compare to other fuse the wire inside fuse.if good check your relay fuel pump relay located beside steering rod under the dash board, it might be defective also.have a nice day rate my fix thanks a lot.

Fuel pump not running

Fuel Pump suse location #14 20Amp Relay box located on left side in engine compartment the location is marked on the fuse box, fuel pump relay is #1 on the same box if the relay has electrical power then go to the pump located inside the fuel tank.

Fuel pump relay or fuse

In most cars it is located at the fuse box or relay fusebox inside the engine compartment or near the fuel pump itself. It could aslo be the fuel pressure regulator if the fuel pump is good.
