Where is the inertia switch on a 1998 chevy cavalier

have you replaced the coolant tempeture sensor.

you have to unscrew the bleeder vavle with the car on and wait intil the fluid runs though it and then tighten and it should be fixed

its low traction, not low traffic.

when the front wheels lose traction the light will illuminate

Sounds like you are getting power to everything but the engine.
Was there a ground wire to the head that you may have left off ?
