Radio code need a radio code for a 1994 passat

NEED VIN TO SEND U RADIO CODE!!

IS IT AN ORIGINAL RADIO?IF SO U FIRST NEED RO CHECK THE CONNECTIONS BEHIND THE RADIO.SECOND NEED TO CHECK IF RADIO IS CORRECTLY CODED.IF NOT U SHOULD CODE IT CORRECTLY.LET ME KNOW.

as far as im aware its only American dealers that keep the codes on file(you will have to pay them for that info)anywhere else in the world you will have to get the radio recoded by a specialist or replace it.the car had a code card inside the info pack when NEW.

Phone VW and give them the vin number of your car and they will give you the code for the radio

Passat 97 need to re-enter code ( 4 ) digit, however it shows the number 2 on the on screen when the radio is turned on.

I left my radio on for one hour, then re enter the code (the one I was trying to enter was the wrong one). Radio is working well.

It depends on whether the code has been set by the manufacturer or a previous owner. With some radios, Eurovox for example, you need to contact them with details such as serial no. etc. and pay a fee for them to send you the code. Otherwise you could try the VW dealers to see if they can reset it.
