Oil Pump is in the oil pan.. You would have to take the pan out. To get the pan out you either have to raise the motor up or remove crossmembers.

yes this is an interference engine they did not make the non interference engine yet. but it might not have if you were not going real fast or revving it up high when it happened.

Have you looked under the vehicle, usually near the seating area, check on both sides, if still unable to find, located the fuel tank and then trace the lines forward this should run you into the filter.
