It is time for service
The Wrench on a Ford, is a MIL Lamp (Malfunction Indicator Lamp)
It means the PCM-Power Train Computer Module, has detected a failure, in one of the vehicles systems. Usually a Sensor out of range for a peroid of time.
You need to have it scanned for a code. The codes you get, don't tell you what is wrong or what to replace. Just an area of your vehicle, to start a diagnostic troubleshooting process.

I assume you have no owners manual or never read it.
The wrench is a MIL Lamp--- a Malfunction Indicator Lamp
It tells you that something like a sensor or other issues,is out of range,as far as the PCM (Computer) sees it. When ever you get a check light, mil light, trac, abs ,etc, you go to a repair shop fairly soon, like a couple of days or so, and have the issues checked out. This will happen a couple times a year ,on most of todays vehicles,so get used to it,and expect to pay a diagnostic fee, plus repair
