Question about 2000 Honda Civic
Actually, there are so many things that could make that light come on,that it's actually disgusting. You could spend thousands replacing stuff, and it would still be on.I would just make sure the fluids are fine, fill the radiator overflow to the cold, oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid(you check this after the car has been running about 10 minutes, leave engine running, car flat, level surface).Unless it's running rough or backfiring you really don't need to worry about it.Yes,the light on is annoying.I would like a piece of the guy who invented it...lol. If you want to call a shop and ask to verify, that's fine, but if you ask them what turns it on they will say the same thing.I am not sure if you can reset it,but if it costs anything,it's not worth it.Good luck!Greg
