None of my brake lights are working

If you checked the bulbs of course then the next thing to check is the brake switch behind the brake pedal. No working switch, no brake lights. Also fuses should be checked and any realys on the circuit.

Brake light not working

If none of the brake lights work, replace the switch on the brake pedal. You will find it by following the brake pedal lever upward. They cost around $15 at most auto parts stores, and are awkward but not difficult to replace.

Break lights dont work but blinkers and other lights do all bulbs are fine but when u push the breaks they dont work

Check under the dash for the switch hooked to the brake pedal assembly, this switch activates your brake lights, push the brake pedal with your hand does the plunger on the switch move? if not see if you can pull it down if you pull it down see if your brake lights are on if yes replace switch. if no, check it for power with a twelve volt test light, if you have power replace the switch. if no power check the fuse for brakes lights see your owners manual for location. Good luck.

Both brake lights not working is it a fuse or brake pedal switch dont think it is a globe cause other one would still work wouldnt it.It is my daughters ba series 3 astina.thankyou.

Check brake light fuse first. If that's good, more than likely it's a brake light switch. It's mounted just above brake pedal under dash - small plastic switch w/a couple of wires coming from it. Easy fix..

Both my brake lights dont go on on my 1994 chevy suburban 1500 i have changed both bulbs but still do not work Please HELP!!

First check the fuse and replace if it is blown. If fuse is OK, then it sounds like the brake light switch has failed. It is located on a bracket under the dash near the top of the brake pedal arm. You could put a bridging wire across the terminals to confirm if the switch is out and the rest of the wiring is OK. If the lights then work replace the switch.

To remove switch, disconnect wiring, loosen locknut and unscrew switch. Replacement is reverse procedure. To adjust, screw in switch until operating button is fully depressed by pedal arm, tighten locknut and reconnect wires. Check for correct operation of lights.

Rear brake light are not working checked fuse under hood and passenger side dash could not find fuse by brake pedal

It could possibly be the actual switch that sits behind the break pedal. When the break pedal depresses or presses into the switch, the break lights go on or off. Not sure how much they run, but really easy to change. You could also check the switch with an ohm meter if available by making sure it breaks or runs continuity through the terminals when the switch is pressed/released. Hope this helps. Good luck!

No brake lights

Possible blown fuse or bulbs need replaced. Also check to see if the switch at the top end of the brake pedal's arm activates when the brake is applied. If it doesn't you'll need to replace it. Good luck
