Were is oil pressure sensor on 2001 mercury sable ls 3.0 24 valve eng beside the oil filter take dip stick out to get to it

It's more likely your pressure regulator inside the oil pump isn't functioning well anymore. You might have some worn main bearings allowing pressure to drop off at idle.

2005 mercury Sable oil pressure sensor test. How to remove and replace the oil pressure sensor on a 2005 mercury Sable v-6 engine.

It's really pretty easy if you have the right tool. The sender requires a special socket. Buy a new sender from the auto parts store and rent or buy the socket from them. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old sensor. Then attach the socket to a ratchet and unscrew the old sending unit. Install the new one and reconnect the connector

I have a 2005 Mercury Sable, it shows the oil is full on the dipstick but the low oil pressure light has come on twice, what could it be?

Low oil pressure has little to do with oil level. The best is to take it to a service agent to have the oil pressure checked. It is very possible that you have a faulty pressure switch, and just changing the switch will solve the problem, but if you have an oil pump problem, causing low pressure, you have a major problem. Have it checked.

What would cause oil to be in the radiator in a 1992 mercury sable

What colour oil is it, if it's white or red then it sounds like the tranny oil is leaking, but only if it is a automatic, if a manual then it has migration of oil into a water jacket and will need to be fixed, by replacing the head gasket

How do I take out the air bag and replace it with another one for my 1992 mercury sable?

You don't. .take it to a reputable garage and let them repair it.if you just install a new air bag without replacing crash sensors, clockspring, air bag module and safing sensor, you may deploy the new air bag, possiably causing major bodily harm. ..stay away from it!!! A static shock from you connecting it could set of air bag..

sounds like a air leak ,, bank 2 sensor 2 ?? refers to after the catalytic converter ... could be a faulty sensor but more likely an air leak .... even a faulty fuel tank cap seal is enough to cause problems on these systems

I have a 1992 Mercury Sable that I bought less than a month ago and it's low on oil...I was wondering exactly what type I should put in?

Any good API (American Petroleum Institute) approved oil will be fine (stamped on bottle) 10w-30 or 10w-40 will work,

No oil pressure, camshaft position sensor error,

Yes, the sensor is in small housing the goes in the hole where the distributor used to go. That also drives the oil pump so don't drive it you'll ruin the engine. It's located down under the throttle body, near transmission end of the engine.
