I HAVE A 2001 CHRYSLER SEBRING THE CODE PO 700 & PO 740 COME ON COULD IT BE A SENSOR CAUSING THIS TO GO OFF

You can't fix these types of complex electronic engine control problems without special equipment.

A four cyl engine only has one bank. So in your case bank one sensor one is in front of the catalytic converter, and sensor two is after the cat.
The sensor can cost from $25 to $85 dollars depending on which one and your location.
Keep in mind the code 420 can be caused by other factors than the O2 sensors.

Replace and done

Replace input and or output speed sensors located on the transmission

DTC P0725 - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT

When Monitored: Continuously after a ignition key is turned from the OFF to RUN

position and/or key is turned from the CRANK to the RUN position.

Set Condition: The code is set when the engine speed sensed by the Transmission Control

Module (TCM) is different than the engine speed reported by the Powertrain Control

Module (PCM) over the Communication Buss.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

CHECKING SYMPTOMS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE

BAD CONNECTIONS AT VARIOUS CONNECTORS

CRANK POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL OPEN

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN

TCM CRANK POSITION SENSOR MONITORING DEFECTIVE

- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) P0040 CHRYSLER Description At ignition on the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks the voltage on the ground side of the O2 sensor harness connector. If voltage is higher than two volts the P0040 code will set. code 41- Possible causes - 1/2 And 2/2 O2 sensors harness circuit shorted
- 1/2 And 2/2 O2 sensors harness circuit connectors (wrong connection)
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) P0041 CHRYSLER Description At ignition on the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks the voltage on the ground side of the O2 sensor harness connector. If voltage is higher than two volts the P0041 code will set.

Buy a factory sensor from the dealer . Chrysler vehicles don't like aftermarket parts .

the diagram is on the panels that cover the fuses take off the fuse door on the inside, driver side on the dash board you have to open the door and look inside on the other side of the door and its the same with the relays in the engine compartment but the radio shouldnt be under the hood i know i have a blazer
