If you turn ur key to acc can you hear your pump turn on? do you have gas pressure? you need 3 things for an engine to run , gas, spark , and compression just start checking what you have and dont have

After a few minutes the truck will start, then immediately die. that's what makes me think it's the fuel pump. But there was no warning, it just died!

well the problem with just guessing is that costs money. i would test the pressure in the fuel lines before you go taking replacing it. A lot of times you can take your car in and they will just test the fuel pressure for free. otherwise go to autozone buy the pressure tester aprx $20-$25 and test how much pressure your getting at the rail. that will tell you if your fuel pump is bad or weak.

2002 dodge ram 1500 convent van keeps sputtering out like its not getting fuel, just put in new fuel pump and still doing it

What is litre size of engine? If you suspect a fuel issue, the first thing, you use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, before you replace anything. How long since overall tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?
Does the vehicle stall at idle or going down the highway? If it stalls at idle, check and clean throttle body and idle air system, see if it helps.
If it stalls going down the highway, I usually check for a blockage of some kind, fuel or exhaust?
If you lose cam or crank sensor it will kill it. You need to do some testing in order to narrow it down. Don't replace everything.

Ford v10 problems

When the engine light is on there is problems in the transmission and engine that have to be identified quickly before damage is done to either or both. Check oil and coolant levels and check the operating temperature of the engine (overheating). The CPU has the engine in limp mode until you fix what is wrong and reset the CPU with a code reader when you have finished.

2001 dodge ram 3500 v10 wont run shows no trouble codes

lift hood and look for your main fuse/relay box. open. look on inside cover for placement of the AUTO SHUT DOWN [RELAY] try to swap the relay out with another from ...the HORN or WIPERS if the relay looks the same. that sounds like why your vehicle is not starting.

95 Buick Riviera Died on the highway. 95 buick riviera was making a clanking sound, then I felt a big **** and everything shut off now car won't start, or do anything. what does this problem sound

Your flywheel may have broke or the crank could have broke. If the crank broke the engine is done. Try to turn the engine over by hand. You can put a socket on the crank pully bolt and try to turn it.make sure the key is off and out of the ignition. Sorry for your loss.

1998 suzuki esteem 1.6 will not start HELP!

Having good fuel pressure is a plus (yours seems a bit high but I don't have specs) What you need to find out is if the injectors are opening and putting the fuel into the engine so it can work. Are the plugs wet with fuel or dry? Does it fire up if you spray carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking?
