I have a 98 v10 ram 3500. Cruising down the highway the engine shut down no sputter or anything. The engine still cranks and tries to start but doesn't. Fuel pump?

well the problem with just guessing is that costs money. i would test the pressure in the fuel lines before you go taking replacing it. A lot of times you can take your car in and they will just test the fuel pressure for free. otherwise go to autozone buy the pressure tester aprx $20-$25 and test how much pressure your getting at the rail. that will tell you if your fuel pump is bad or weak. well the problem with just guessing is that costs money. i would test the pressure in the fuel lines before you go taking replacing it.
