Starting problems with my 1991 2.5 tdi Pajero.

I hope you can help. My 1991 2.5 tdi Pajero is suffering with starting problems. I have already checked the glow plugs and all is well. I think that the problem exists with the fuel pump. Whenever I have to prime the pump, it is clear that the fuel has been drawn away from the pump and injectors. The process to prime the pump is usually a timely one and is becoming boring. I wondered if anyone has experienced a similar problem and if so, how was this resolved?

Thanks
Andy.

Sounds like fuel pump seals. Remove your fuel filter and have a look see if its black.

1991 hond accord 2.2 I already replaced distribitor, computer, igniter, no spark please help [email protected]

If you know someone with a scan tool you can use it to plug in to the vehicle's computer to check the sensor readings while starting it. I'm almost certain the problem is going to be either the camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor.
