That is typically a sign that it has failed the self test & is most likely going to need to be removed & sent to be repaired or replace it.

Best thing to do is to go to the public library and look in the Reference section for a repair manual for this vehicle. I could go into how to do it, but it is actually pretty straight forward as far as repairs are considered. Just be sure to disconnect the battery before performing any of the repair. (disconnect the ground cable)
You will have to remove the drive belt before removing the alternator.
Remove the glove box. It will have two connectors and two screws holding it in place remove the connectors and the screws, install the new one and you should be all set.
locate where the antenna goes into the car you may have to remove the housing once you have access to the antenna you will see a screw nut on the bottom of the threaded shaft unod this nut and pull the mast up and out reverse the process to reinstall.
Dont take out the alternator you need a 10mm swivel socket to get to the bolt but you can get to it .go to sears the socket is about $7 .I have done numerous egr valves on these caravans :)
