Should be on the fuel rail, it will have a vacuum hose running to it. Usally there will be 2 or 3 torx head bolts holding it on. Watch the o-rings on install, spray some WD-40 on them.

I take it you're doing an oil change and made this discovery? Some gas is normal, especially after winter months (high idle/choke) Could be sticky injectors - run a good fuel system cleaner through it, clean MAF and oil change/filter and check after about 2-300 miles. If there's alot of fuel, then you might consider changing injectors

I think your after the fuel pressure check valve or regulator. This model doesn't actually have a fuel pressure sensor.
The regulator is on the centre of the manifold at the end of the fuel rail.
The check valve is right next to the PVC valve which is also at the centre of the inlet manifold.

If this is the 4.3 liter the fuel pressure regulator is located in the intake valley. You will need to remove the upper half of the intake manifold, once removed you will see a small round regulator located at on end of the injector line.
the fuel pressure regulator is located inside the intake. you have to remove the upper intake to access the regulator. the black plastic intake is what you need to remove.
I think 54 p.s.i. on fuel pressure is close to border line, Are the injectors pulsating, You can have fire at the plugs but if injectors are not pulsating it will not run. I know there were problems with the injections systems on blazers and jimmys around that year, i would look closer to the injection system.
the fuel pressure if leaking could cause this the regulator is located under the intake plenum but you should smell gas .if you dont then most likely the pump is bad ,the pump will come on for 2 seconds when the key is on then go off it will not stay on with just the key on only when you crank it will it .so have your fuel pressure checked with a gauge.
