They have a problem with the forward lighting harness. Where the harness runs by the washer fluid tank there are 3 splice packs and they rott out all the time. You may have to remove the connector from under the body and the washer tank to gain access.

Lowbeam headlight dont work, not the bulb, high beam and all other lights work.

Make sure you use the right light because the high beams and low beams use different lights. I think the low beam is H4531 and the high is H4532.

I have a 2007 grand prix. The lowbeams work but

check the switch it self in the steering column mabe faulty and will need replacing. the high beam switch tend to go bad over time, some has better luck than others, it fairly easy to replace. the switch unit itself operate like a two way switch, one for flashing and other high beam.

My left headlight highbeam light works and the lowbeam don't why

the filament on the low beam burnt out. but the high beam didn't. You have a filament for each. 1 for high beam and 1 for low beam in the same light bulb. You need a new head light.

perhaps i missed something here... lowbeams and daytime lights are about the same.... be that as it may... the merely obvious thing is that the low beams are burnt out.... next thing would be that the relay for the day time lights could be defective... it's often mounted on the firewall.

How do you align headlights on ford cougar?

When you open the hood and look at the headlight assembly you will see 2 plastic gears, they take a hex tool, and the one to adjust the lowbeams is the outermost one towards the fenderwell of the car, the high beam adjustment is the one closest to the radiator.

Hope this helps.
