I pretty much had this same problem what your problem is going to be is more than likely you have a pin hole leek in one of the fuel lines inside the plenum .

S10 Blazer running rich. Low RPM at idle. Sometimes stalls when driven in reverse.

These alone will case the problem with the running rich. It is getting more air so it is calling for more gas to keep it running. Get these problems fixed and will see a big differents in how it runs.

1993 chevy s10 blazer wont start turns over, changed fuel pump and brain

The first thing I would check is you are getting both spark and fuel at the cylinders. Remove one spark plug at a time and connect to it's plug wire while holding the end of the plug against a solid ground. Have someone crank the engine. If you see a good spark in the spark plug gap I would then make sure you have fuel at the cylinders. Cranking the engine for a bit. Then pull each spark plug out and check that fuel is on the end of the plug. If you have both fuel and spark at the cylinders I would look more at such things as timing belts, sensors, etc.

Runs rich and is hard to start has 4.3

Check the fuel pump relay located inside the glove box .If its bad the fuel pump will still get power through the oil pressure sending unit its a safety back up system but will make a long cranking condution. Also check your fuel filter located under the drivers door on the frame rail inline . And i dough its running rich .Pull your spark plugs you have to go in from under the wheel wells for most .If they look white then its running lean .I would check the fuel filter before it cooks the fuel pump first. Spark plugs tell a story if you can read them . And how is your exhust system thats a nother big factor on how the engine performs extremaly imporant on the 4.3 vortec

I have a 94 chevy s10 blazer. It has the 4.3L Vortec. When i get in traffic or if i leave my truck running without moving for any period of time it starts flooding itself out and sputters. When it starts...

What it is is that the engine is running rich, check MAP sensor acts like a choke, make sure vacum hose is good and that it has vacum if ok you'll need to check injector's or the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel line for leaking fuel, the bad thing is that to get to these part's you will have to remove the in-take magifold , after removal of in-take have some one turn key to the on position and look for fuel leak's.
