I don't know your model year? About all I could do is look up your owners manual then look at instrument cluster in the manual to see what that lamp means? Some owners manuals I can look at online for free, some I can't?
If your oil light is on, it means that the control module thinks there is no oil pressure. It could be a bad oil pressure sending unit, or it could be that the oil pump is out and that the engine is actually not getting oil. The engine would need to have a mechanical gauge put on to find out if it does have pressure.
The oil light looks like a oil can and is red the check engine light looks like a engine or says check engine and if flashing this means further operation at current speed will ruin the catalyst converters they are getting overheated due to poor engine performance. BAD misfires.code readers can pinpoint area of concern
It means you need oil or there is a problem with your oil pump. I suggest you get this looked at as soon as you can. Don't continue to drive it until this is resolved.
