Changed fuel filter but still dont start tries to start but dies

    Turn the KEY to on position for 3 minutes or more Listen for the sound (pumping) from the fuel tank, Do few cyclesif you have time. You need the fuel system to pressurize.. You may also need starting fluid in air box (behind air filter) to aid restart. Please rate my answer if it's help to you. Cheers, MUSTGO

to start out with, change any fuel filters you can find. Change the air filter out, too. Once all the filters have been changed out, add a small amount of "SeaFoam" to the fuel, and see if it helps any.

Make sure your fuel pump is kicking on. When you turn the key to on, you should hear it buzzing for a second or two. Being that you changed the fuel filter and it started, this might be your problem.

sounds like your fuel pump is going out cuase not getting fuel and dies if filter was replaced how long ago fuel filter replaced becuase if you have got bad gas could have clogged fuel filter again with debris try this turn the key to start position but dont start it and see if you can hear the fuel pump and if it is weak hope this helps turn key off then on wait till fuel pump kicks off then do it again then try start it if starts right away is a weak fuel pump cuase manually priming it

YEP IT COULD BE STOP UP FUEL FILTER. BAD FUEL PUMP RELAY OR.BAD FUEL INJECTOR.CHECK THE WIRES GOING TO THE IGNITION COIL AND ALTERNATOR MAKE SURE NOT LOOSE.IF CHANGING FUEL FILTER DONT HELP.IF SPARK PLUGS + WIRES GOOD.HAVE CAR SCANNED COULD BE IDLE SPEED CONTROL BAD.

Yes - but there are two filters. One is in the fuel tank, the other in the fuel line. You should change both.
