It very much sounds like your fuel pump is getting weak or the fuel pressure regulator is going bad.

Trouble codes 1391,0622

Sounds like you have 2 different issues. the p01391 is and intermittent loss of cam or crank sensor without a scope guess work is your only hope. Start by replacing cam sensor. easiest and cheapest. Then crank sensor if cam sensor doesn't fix it. If neither one of those fix it your looking at some very expensive repairs (pcm, wiring or flex plate)
The p0622 is a charging system problem possible causes are pcm, alternator or wiring.

Why does it take a vehicle 3 times to start and then starts normally

you could have a slow leak in your fuel pump to where it leaks back into the tank at night......so there is no fuel present in the morning and has to wait for the fuel pump to bring it from the tank, while you are cranking the engine because it slowly leaked out/back during the night.and since it is 13yrs old...that does not seem unlikely at that age.

Cold starting problem

It may be a good idea to get the heater glow plugs checked out. They are usefull first thing in the morning especially with the cold spell we are having.
