You have broken doors in your HVAC housing. This is a common problem with the older body style Rams. Does require moving the dash, but it's a fairly simple process.
Hello, Look underneath dash on passenger side of your transmission hump. The simple fix would be a broken or de-tached cable(wire). You might be able to move it by hand.The more complex solution involves (professional service)removing a substantial part of the dash to get to the internal baffle.
There is a actuator on the right side of your leg while sitting in the drivers seat under the dash. It has a plastic rod for actuation manually actuate this diverter and should be the problem.
Take a flashlight and look up under dash from center console area, across to passenger side, for wiring harness, and/or hoses(small rubber) , they should lead you to it. Haven't had my head under one of those recently, and having a problem tracking you down a diagram for some reason, but it has to be there.
