Sounds like either bad or wrong battery, dirty or bad battery connection.(just because it's new still can be faulty or wrong) Bad bat cable or ground.. Check those connectors good luck Frank M
You say the alternator tested good, on the car or off ? There are two fuses from the alternator to the key switch, a 7.5 amp and a 15 amp. There is also an 80 amp fuse from the alternator to the battery. I would check these fuses and the connections at the alternator, plus the ground between the engine and the frame.
Either you have a ignition switch problem or there is a aftermarket alarm. When there is just a clinking this tell you there is not good contact being made.
Hi,
I'm truly not familiar with your particular model but by your description, I would suspect you have a weak battery connection. I'm assuming of course, that the engine is not turning over at all when you turn the ignition key... it just clicks rapidly. ?
If this is the case, clean the battery terminal connections for a good contact and give it another try.
I hope this does the trick... Good luck!
hi. check all wires running to your indicators a faulty wire can cause this. and also your turn signal relays under the dash where all the fuses are swap the relays around then test it. if it works the its the relay if not id say a wiring problem. also a blown bulb on the right side can cause this also. cheers
